Abstract:
Articles for use with 5G radio waves in the range of 23.5 GHz to 39.5 GHz. The article includes one or more portions for transmitting and/or receiving the radio waves therethrough, the one or more portions independently including a thermoplastic resin comprising an acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) composition, a polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) composition, a polycarbonate (PC) composition, a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) composition, a polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) composition, a liquid crystalline polymer (LCP) composition, or a polyamide composition. The one or more portions have a thickness that provides low signal attenuation of the radio waves.
Abstract:
The technology described herein is generally directed towards a gateway device (e.g., a cable modem or telecommunications modem) that is coupled to a base component. The base component couples to an interchangeable lid that is coupled to an electronic device. This forms a sealed housing for outdoor use, e.g., between a provider head end and the subscriber(s). A universal interface provides power or a network connection, or both, to the electronic device. The base component and/or the sealed housing protect the internal components against environmental effects. The base component and/or the sealed housing protect against external RF signals from entering, and internally generated RF signals from exiting.
Abstract:
An integrated waveguide for use in high radio frequency communication is provided. The integrated waveguide including: a first substrate including a first plastic layer having on a first inward-facing surface, a first portion of a waveguide feature formed on the first inward-facing surface, and a metal layer disposed on the first inward-facing surface; and a second substrate including a second plastic layer having a second inward-facing surface, a second portion of a waveguide feature formed on the second inward-facing surface, and a metal layer disposed on the second inward-facing surface, wherein the first substrate and the second substrate are assembled to define an integrated waveguide feature defined by an assembling of the first portion of the waveguide feature and the second portion of the waveguide feature.
Abstract:
Portable cases (100 and 200) are invented to carry various mobile electronic devices (MB ED) e.g. smart phones, tablet computers, notebooks, media tablets, E-readers, portable digital assistants, and mobile phones. The basic idea of this invention is not only to protect above mentioned electronic devices, but also provide a convenient to carry and use these products. The case (100 or 200) is designed to carry, fix, attach, remove, and detach any MB ED with ease. While this also facilitate users to operate any MB ED as it is fixed in case (100 or 200). Furthermore, case (100 or 200) ha s properties to attach it with many other daily usage products named as ' Base system ' like hand bags, school bags, briefcase, purse etc, as attaching case (100 or 200) to these products provides real mobility to users.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Antenna systems, such as an active antenna system (AAS), can include active and passive electronic components located closely together inside an antenna system. Such systems may benefit from variable adaptation of active antenna system radio frequency signal filtering. An apparatus can include an active part on a first end of a signal path within a sealed enclosure. The apparatus can also include a radiator part on a second end of the signal path within the sealed enclosure. The apparatus can further include an intermediate part, which includes at least one of an additional filter part or a customized passive part, positioned between the active part and the radiator part along the signal path between the first signal side and the second signal side.
Abstract:
A keypad assembly (100) provides improved backlighting in a slim-line form factor with a minimal number of LEDs (130). The keypad assembly (100) utilizes side-firing LEDs (130) mounted to a keypad flex (112) which protrude through subsequent thin layers of substrates. A light-guide film (104) disposed over the layers includes corresponding cut-outs through which the side-firing LEDS partially protrude. The light-guide film includes light dispersion areas (114) formed thereon. A cover (102) seals the side-firing LEDs (130) protruding through the light-guide film (104). An interconnect flex (132) couples to the keypad flex (112) to provide flexible coupling of the keypad assembly to an electronic device. The light-guide film (104) provides both light dispersion and sealing to the keypad assembly (100).
