Abstract:
Various examples are provided related to attachment of bands such as, e.g., collar or neck bands, sleeve bands, wrist bands, waist bands and ankle bands, etc. to a garment opening. In one example, among others, a band can be attached to a garment by loading the band between rollers (202) in a joining position, positioning an opening of a garment extending between control surface mandrels (304) over the band, and attaching the band to the garment along the edge of the opening.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Epaulette Sewing Machine The invention relates to an epaulette sewing system, which ensures suction and fixing of the fabric by means of vacuum housing (2), a vacuum pool (7), a vacuum valve (10), and a compressor (14), determines the sewing point via a point laser (6), and performs epaulette sewing at once, without stopping or double sewing.
Abstract:
A method for introducing a seam into a decor layer (10), comprises the following steps: attaching means for guiding the decor layer (10), introducing the decor layer (10) into a sewing machine, and introducing at least one seam (15, 16) into the decor layer (10), and removing the means for guiding from the decor layer (10). This allows for improved reproducibility and quality of the finished trim part.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a jig (2) having a guide groove for guiding a sewing line and fixing fabric; a side roller (5) for moving and rotating the jig (2), a step motor (7) or a mechanical driving device to rotate the side roller (5), an elastic support member (6), which is provided at a front end thereof with a roller adhering closely to the jig (2) and is provided at a rear end thereof with a spring (66), and a detection member including a first sensor (8) installed on the elastic support member (6) to detect a curvature of a corner of the jig (2) and a second sensor (9) which detects a beginning point and an ending point of the corner by detecting the first sensor (8). If the first sensor (8) matches with the second sensor (9) according to a motion of the elastic support member (6) supported to a side of the jig (2), the beginning point of the corner is detected, and if the first sensor (8) deviates from the second sensor (9) according to the motion of the elastic support member, the ending point of the corner is detected.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus are provide for transporting, operating, and storing power tools an their accessories, through the use of a portable work center apparatus including a closable case having a work surface fixedly attached thereto and storage compartments therein. The work surface is enclosed within the case when the case is in a closed position, exposed when the case is in an open position, and adapted tor supporting a work piece thereupon. The work surface is adapted for having a tool removable attached thereto. The work surface includes a vise and the apparatus includes hold down devices for securing a work piece on the work surface
Abstract:
A multi-needle quilting machine (10) and method are provided in which needles (132) reciprocate horizontally through material (12) supported in a vertical quilting plane (16). Two or more bridges (21, 22) are provided having separate motion control. Each bridge (21, 22) has a row of selectively operable stitching element pairs (90), which may be fixed to or transversely moveable on the bridges (21, 22). The bridges (21, 22) each move transversely and vertically with the stitching elements on each being operable at different speeds. Each bridges is driven by linear servo motors (45, 46) and all the needle drives (25) and looper drives (26) on a bridge are respectively driven by a common servo motor (67, 69). Control schemes are provided for quilting several patterns.
