Abstract: La presente divulgación se refiere a un dispositivo para alojar equipo eléctrico y de telecomunicaciones y a un método para instalar dicho dispositivo. Respecto al dispositivo, este comprende un contenedor con una base y una pared dispuesta en el perímetro de dicha base, donde dicha pared presenta al menos una protuberancia. Además, el dispositivo comprende una aleta con perforaciones dispuesta en el contenedor, orientada hacia el exterior de dicho contenedor, y una pestaña dispuesta en el perímetro de la pared, en el extremo opuesto a la base. Donde dicha pestaña se extiende hacia el exterior del contenedor, el cual está configurado para sujetarse a una malla de construcción por medio de las perforaciones de la aleta. Por su parte, el método de instalación permite que el dispositivo se disponga dentro de un muro de concreto antes de que dicho concreto sea vaciado dentro del encofrado para fabricar el muro.
