The method includes generating detection information of the electronic apparatus, receiving a beacon including detection information of at least one external electronic apparatus from the at least one external electronic apparatus, and identifying the at least one pairing subject among the at least one external electronic apparatus based on a result of comparing the received detection information with the generated detection information.
