An electronic apparatus according to various embodiments includes a communication unit that transmits and receives data. The electronic apparatus also includes a controller that determines whether disconnection between an electronic apparatus operating as a relay apparatus and at least one client apparatus is expected. The control also, if the disconnection is expected, informs the at least one client apparatus of the expected disconnection. The control also determines whether a status of the electronic apparatus satisfies a condition for a change to a new relay apparatus and informs the at least one client apparatus that the electronic apparatus no longer operates as the relay apparatus if the condition for a change to a new relay apparatus is satisfied.
