Abstract:
Disclosed is a method of updating a biometric feature pattern by an electronic device. The method includes acquiring a plurality of biometric images. The method also includes comparing each of the plurality of biometric images with a pre-registered feature pattern. The method further includes determining a biometric image that matches the pre-registered feature pattern among the plurality of biometric images. In addition, the method includes updating the pre-registered feature pattern by adding at least one feature point of a biometric image that does not match the pre-registered feature pattern among the plurality of biometric images to the pre-registered feature pattern.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method by which an electronic device recognizes biometric information, comprising the steps of: sensing a direction of an electronic device; and recognizing biometric information by using a parameter corresponding to the sensed direction.
Abstract:
A method for controlling an electronic device is provided, including displaying at least one portion of a screen displayed on a first display unit of a first electronic device on a second display unit of a second electronic device, receiving an input related to a first position in the second display unit; identifying a type of an object corresponding to the first position, and executing at least one function based on the type of the object.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a beacon relay method for an electronic device. A method to operate an electronic device is provided. The method includes receiving a beacon signal. The method also includes analyzing information in the received beacon signal. The method further includes determining whether to relay the beacon signal based on the analyzed information.

Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for identifying at least one pairing subject in an electronic apparatus are provided. The method includes generating detection information of the electronic apparatus, receiving a beacon including detection information of at least one external electronic apparatus from the at least one external electronic apparatus, and identifying the at least one pairing subject among the at least one external electronic apparatus based on a result of comparing the received detection information with the generated detection information.
Abstract:
An electronic device for performing iris authentication, according to various examples of the present invention, can comprise: an image sensor for outputting an image obtained by photographing an eye part; a display for displaying an iris authentication screen image; and a control unit detecting at least a partial region from the captured eye part image so as to perform iris authentication by adjusting display characteristics of the display on the basis of a result obtained by comparing the size of the detected region with the size of a region required for the iris authentication, and various examples are possible.

Abstract:
A method of controlling multitasking in an electronic device using a double-sided display is provided. The method includes detecting a first gesture which reverses a first direction of a first screen executing a first application to a second direction or reverses the second direction of a second screen to the first direction, displaying a first list of applications on the second screen of the second direction is reversed to the first direction, when the first gesture is detected, detecting a input for selecting a second application from the first list of applications, and executing and displaying the touched second application on the second screen having the first direction.
