In accordance with one embodiment, there is provided a method of operating a mobile transceiver, comprising: activate a cellular transceiver using a first subscriber identity module (SIM) card in the plurality of SIM cards; switch from the first SIM card to a second SIM card in the plurality of SIM cards in response to a determination that a wireless service for the first SIM card is not available.
