The technical objective is to obtain novel unitemporal therapeutic and prophylactic vaccines (single time vaccination strategy) using simultaneously one or more mucosal doses and one parenteral dose where the use of potent mucosal adjuvants are essential, preferable the Cochleate (AFCo1, Adjuvant Finlay Cochleate 1). The incorporation or co-administration by parenteral and mucosal routes of non-related PL antigens (heterologous), and/or the additional use of delivery systems like Aluminum, Chitosan or oil/water emulsions by parenteral application is also included in this invention. The induction of cellular immune responses than including systemic specific IgG and secretory specific IgA is obtained with at least two simultaneously doses. So, this unitemporal strategy is applicable to obtaining new unique or multiples vaccines (several mucosal vaccine antigens with the corresponding parenteral combine vaccine) in the pharmaceutical industry which permit to increase vaccine coverage and reduce the time-cost of vaccine campaigns.

The invention relates to the field of immunology, immunoallergy and, in particular, the use of adjuvants or carriers in order to modulate the immunological response to allergens. The technical objective of the invention is: to produce a therapeutic or prophylactic pharmaceutical preparation using bacterial proteoliposomes, which, when applied to allergic individuals, transforms the Th2- and IgE-dependent allergic response into a protective Th1 response; and to prevent the appearance and development of allergies in not-yet allergic individuals. The vaccine composition consists of proteoliposomes of gram-negative bacteria coupled with allergens and, optionally, other antigens or adjuvants. The invention also relates to the method of producing the inventive vaccine composition and to the two-dose schedule for immunisation with said vaccine composition.

The invention relates to the field of vaccinal compositions for the effective or preventive treatment of vertically transmitted infections, especially malaria and preferably human malaria caused by Plasmodium falciparum. The technical aim of the invention is to use the tolerogens transferred, at an early stage, from the mother to the foetus/newborn and to formulate them with potent adjuvants that are inducers of Th1 and cytotoxic T-cell responses in order to use same in prophylactic or therapeutic vaccines against vertically transmitted infections, especially malaria. The use of said formulations at early ages via the parenteral route or via the mucosal route or both at the same time reverts the tolerance induced by the transfer of tolerogens, thereby inducing protective responses.

The present invention has applications in the field of immunology - specifically in the control of infectious diseases caused by mycobacteria - based on the use of preparations containing antibodies, administered through mucous membranes and other routes, which have a prophylactic and therapeutic function. Preparations of class IgG, IgA secretory, or mixtures of both human antibodies with specific activity against mycobacterial antigens, have been developed for use in the prevention and treatment of infections brought on by this kind of microorganism. Said preparations proved effective "in vivo" in the inhibition of infections caused by mycobacteria.

This invention is related to biotechnology, specially with the methods of chemical conjugation of antigenic molecules. Hereby enclosed there is a description of a method for the conjugation of saccharides antigens. The invention is based on the generation of amino groups in a saccharide structure, from which one saccharide with two different functional groups is obtained. This method could be used to fix proteins to saccharides. Also included are the conjugates which happen to be effective against bacterial diseases, which were also obtained through the aforementioned method.
