    摘要: Provided is a group communication method in a communication system, wherein multiple terminals belong to the same group and share a channel for group communication. A first terminal sends an alert message containing a group ID for the target group and thereafter a group message. A second terminal monitoring the group communication channel receives the alert message and checks whether it is a member of the group indicated by the group ID in the alert message. The second terminal being a member of the indicated group waits for reception of a group message. The second terminal being a non-member of the indicated group does not monitor the group communication channel for the group message transmission.
