The machine in accordance with the invention is characterised in that the shaft (2) is equipped with an axial cam (6), which drives the elements controlling the working medium's flow between working chambers and the low- or high-pressure channels (12, 13) and with immovably attached on the shaft (2) support plate (3) with a fixed inclination angle, while the flow controlling element's shape is preferably a sleeve (9) with at least one hole (10) and a projection (11) supported on the cam's (6) running surface, and the internal surface of the sleeve (9) with at least one piston (5) head form together the working chamber.

    Bei einer solchen Verstellvorrichtung werden ein vereinfachter, kompakter Aufbau und gleichzeitig grössere Verstellwege dadurch ermöglicht, dass die mechanischen Rückführungsmittel (21,..,26) über gegenläufig wirkende, die Rückstellkraft erzeugende Zugfedern (21, 22) derart an die Stellmittel (11,..,20) angekoppelt sind, dass sich die Wirkung der Zugfedern (21, 22) in der Neutralstellung der Stellmittel (11,..,20) und des Steuerelements (27) aufhebt.

The control circuit (60, 160) receives pressurized fluid from the pump delivery gallery (50) or another high pressure area (50, 52) and, using a pressure reducer (64, 164), reduces the operating pressure within the control circuit (60, 160) to a substantially constant pressure lower than the pump output pressure. Lower operating pressure within the control circuit (60, 160) improves the manufacturability of the control circuit components and helps to achieve better control of the pump output.
