摘要: A system for teaching a user to identify a family of items is provided including a matching symbol having an identifiable family indicator and a teaching symbol indicating a matching of the family indicator to the family of items. The teaching further illustrates compatibility of the family of items with the family indicator.

摘要: The color device (300) has a core (302) with hues that gradually change whiteness, respectively. The discs have hues covering an entire color spectrum at a certain level of whiteness. All hues of the first and second discs (308, 306) have the first and second level of whiteness, respectively. The discs extend perpendicularly outwardly from the core. The first disc (308) is axially remote from the second disc (306) so that a distance (d) is formed therebetween. The discs are aligned so that color cells of the first disc (308) axially aligned with color cells of the second disc (306) have identical hues except for different whiteness. The level of color saturation in the color cells is gradually increased radially outwardly from the core (302).

摘要: Method, modules and a system formed by connecting the modules for controlling payloads. An activation signal is propagated in the system from one module to the modules connected to it. Upon receiving an activation signal, the module (after a pre-set or random delay) activates a payload associated with it, and transmits the activation signal (after another pre-set or random delay) to one or more modules connected to it. The system is initiated by a master module including a user activated switch producing the activation signal. The activation signal can be propagated in the system in one direction from the master to the last module, or carried bi-directionally allowing two way propagation, using a module which revert the direction of the activation signal propagation direction. A module may be individually powered by an internal power source such as a battery, or connected to an external power source such as AC power.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for evaluating and/or improving dynamic visual perception of an individual, comprising:
    a) displaying on a screen (11) a moving pattern (12) having a chosen visual complexity feature (Simp),
    b) providing a human/machine interface (13, 14) enabling the individual to input a value to indicate the pattern that the individual sees on the screen,
    c) repeating the preceding steps in order to count the number of successive positive answers imputed at step b), and
d1) if the number of successive positive comparisons exceeds a predetermined threshold (S1), increasing (S2) the pattern visual complexity feature of a chosen amount,
d2) otherwise, lowering (S7) the pattern visual complexity feature of a chosen amount,
    e) repeating steps d1) and d2) and lowering (Appl h, S3 ; S8) the chosen amount each time an alternation between steps d1) and d2) is detected, until a predetermined number (THR) of alternations (Alter) is detected, in order to determine a maximum visual complexity feature (Simp) of patterns that the individual can identify.
This maximum visual complexity feature defines a quantitative value of the dynamic visual perception of the individual.
