摘要: A method for encoding for encoding a current image in an image set is disclosed that comprises accessing a reference image for the current image; determining at least one prediction image wherein a prediction image is obtained from a geometric transform applied to the reference image; said prediction image being a prediction for at least one region of current image; encoding the current image based on said at least a prediction image using block matching compensation of a coding standard; generating a bitstream comprising the encoded image, an item representative of the reference image and an item representative of the at least one geometric transform.
The determining of the at least a prediction image further comprises determining super-pixels for the current image; for each super-pixel of the current image, determining a super-pixel geometric transform between a super-pixel of the current image and a super-pixel of the reference image based on feature points belonging to the super-pixel of the current image; determining the at least one region of current image used for prediction and a geometric transform by merging the super-pixel geometric transforms.-

The image sequence descriptor (101) may further include a segment local descriptor (114) for a segment, comprising a set of encoded local feature descriptors.

A standard template generation unit (202) generates a plurality of standard templates with different resolutions for different layers. An identification template generation unit (203) generates, for each layer, a common template that represents a common part of the plurality of standard templates, and identification templates that represent differences between the plurality of templates. Matching in a higher level layer uses the standard templates. Matching in a lower level layer uses the common template representing a common part of the templates and the identification templates representing differences between the templates.

摘要: An industrial vehicle is provided comprising a drive mechanism, a steering mechanism, a vehicle controller, a camera, and a navigation module. The camera is communicatively coupled to the navigation module, the vehicle controller is responsive to commands from the navigation module, and the drive mechanism and the steering mechanism are responsive to commands from the vehicle controller. The camera is configured to capture an input image of a warehouse ceiling comprising elongated skylights characterized by different rates of image intensity change along longitudinal and transverse axial directions, and ceiling lights characterized by a circularly symmetric rate of image intensity change. The navigation module is configured to distinguish between the ceiling lights and the skylights and send commands to the vehicle controller for localization, or to navigate the industrial vehicle through the warehouse based upon valid ceiling light identification, valid skylight identification, or both.
