摘要: The present disclosure relates to a cylindrical secondary battery (100) allowing the loss of space inside a case to be reduced. As an example, the present disclosure provides a cylindrical secondary battery (100) including an electrode assembly (120) which includes a first electrode plate (121), a separator (123), and a second electrode plate (122), a case (110) which has a cylindrical shape, in which the electrode assembly (120) is accommodated, and of which a lower portion is open, a terminal (150) which passes through an upper surface portion (111) of the case (110) and is coupled to the case through a first gasket (116), a first current collector plate (130) which is interposed between an upper surface of the electrode assembly (120) and the case (110) and electrically connects the first electrode plate (121) and the terminal (150), and a cap plate (160) configured to seal the lower end portion of the case (110), wherein the case (110) includes the upper surface portion (111) having a flat plate shape, a central portion (113) which is positioned at a central portion of the upper surface portion (111), has a terminal hole (113b), and protrudes outward further than the upper surface portion (111), and a side surface portion (112) extending downward from an edge of the upper surface portion (111).

The battery cell includes a case, a first battery cell, and a second battery cell, the first battery cell being arranged inside the case, the first battery cell including a first main body part, a first electrode lead-out component extending from a first side of the first main body part, and a second electrode lead-out component extending from a second side of the first main body part, the first side and the second side being arranged oppositely, the second battery cell being arranged inside the case, the second battery cell including a second main body part, a third electrode lead-out component extending from a third side of the second main body part, and a fourth electrode lead-out component extending from a fourth side of the second main body part, and the third side and the fourth side being arranged oppositely; wherein the first battery cell and the second battery cell are arranged in a first direction, the first side and the third side are adjacent and arranged oppositely, and the first electrode lead-out component and the third electrode lead-out component are electrically connected. The present application helps reduce the volume of the battery cell by optimizing the arrangement of the internal structure of the case.

The battery cell of the present application has strong anti-extrusion capability and can effectively protect the battery cell.

The battery cell includes: an electrode assembly; a housing, where the housing has a first opening for accommodating the electrode assembly; an end cover configured to cover the first opening, where the end cover has a protruding structure, the protruding structure protrudes along a first direction away from the interior of the battery cell, and the first direction is a thickness direction of the end cover; and an electrode terminal, where the electrode terminal has a protruding portion protruding from the protruding structure along a second direction, and the second direction is perpendicular to the first direction. The battery cells are interconnected in the second direction through the protruding portions of the electrode terminals, which can enhance the strength of the connection between the battery cells, thereby reducing the number of cross beams or partitions to be provided between battery modules, and improving the utilization of space inside the battery.
