Abstract:
The invention relates to an antenna arrangement (1), for a motor vehicle, whereby the antenna arrangement (1) comprises at least one conducting antenna structure (3, 4, 5), arranged in or on a planar component of the motor vehicle, electrically connected to an electronic device (13). The at least one antenna structure (3, 4, 5) is arranged in or on a film (2) said film (2) presenting a contact region (6), by means of which the at least one antenna structure (3, 4, 5) is directly or by means of at least one contact partner (7, 8, 9, 12) electronically connected to the electrical device (13) and the film (2) is arranged on the planar component.
Abstract:
There is provided a flexible antenna (12) terminated to a coaxial cable (16) having a center conductor (26) surrounded by a dielectric (24) and a cable braid (22). The flexible antenna forms part of a wireless communication system (10). The flexible antenna includes a flexible film substrate (30) having first and second surfaces (32, 34), with a signal element (36) and a ground element (38) on the first surface. A signal contact (40) having a base (50) is mounted to the first surface of the flexible film substrate in electrical connection with the signal element. The signal contact has a mounting element (52) extending from the base and engaging the second surface such that the flexible film substrate is captured between the mounting element and the base of the signal contact. The signal contact has a wire termination (54) terminated to the center conductor of the coaxial cable. A ground contact (42) having a base (60) is mounted to the first surface of the flexible film substrate in electrical connection with the ground element. The ground contact has a mounting element (62) extending from the base and engaging the second surface such that the flexible film substrate is captured between the mounting element and the base of the ground contact. The ground contact has a wire termination (64) terminated to the cable braid of the coaxial cable.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing a vehicle antenna device (1) and to a vehicle antenna device (1) which is produced using this method and has a carrier film (2) which is composed of an electrically non-conductive material, wherein antenna structures (3) which are composed of an electrically conductive material are applied to the carrier film (2), wherein provision is made, according to the invention, for a plug connector (4) or an electronic device (6) to be fixed and electrically contact-connected directly to the carrier film (2) at a base point of the antenna structure (3).
Abstract:
A connector includes: a holder portion, attached to a glass antenna on a substrate, the holder portion including: a feeding terminal, having a predetermined width; and an earth terminal, disposed to surround both sides of the feeding terminal so that a predetermined distance is provided between the earth terminal and each of the both sides of the feeding terminal; and a pickup portion, detachably attached to the holder portion, the pickup portion including: a core wire conductor, which is connected to a core wire of a coaxial cable and which is connected to the feeding terminal when attached to the holder portion; and an earth conductor, which is connected to an outer conductor and which is connected to the earth terminal when attached to the holder portion, wherein a characteristic impedance of the connector when the pickup portion is attached to the holder portion is substantially equal to a characteristic impedance of the coaxial cable.
