Rectifier diodes in a rectifier circuit are connected between the two sheet metals. Inductance of a line between the rectifier elements and the secondary windings is reduced compared with the usual case where rectifier elements are connected between secondary windings and a wiring area, and consequently surge voltage to the rectifier elements is effectively suppressed.
