摘要: The present disclosure provides a method for transmitting wireless power, performed by a wireless power transmitter, in a wireless power transmission system, and a device using same, the method comprising: entering a power transmission phase associated with transmitting the wireless power to a wireless power receiver; generating a slot in the power transmission phase; and performing foreign object detection on the slot, wherein the wireless power transmitter transmits the wireless power to the wireless power receiver on the basis of a first operating frequency before generating the slot, the wireless power transmitter resumes transmitting the wireless power on the basis of a second operating frequency after the slot is ended, and the second operating frequency is a higher frequency than the first operating frequency.

摘要: A method for charging a fully depleted battery of a wireless charging (WLC) device is provided. An RF controller and a read-only non-volatile memory of the WLC device is powered with the RF field of a WLC charger device. The RF controller controls charging of the battery by the RF field using a first charging program stored in the read-only non-volatile memory. A microcontroller of the WLC device is booted up after the battery has reached a predetermined voltage level. The microcontroller loads a second more complex dynamic charging program into a volatile random-access memory (RAM) of the WLC device for execution by the RF controller. The RF controller transitions code execution from the first charging program in the read-only non-volatile memory to the second charging program in the RAM. in another embodiment, the WLC device is provided.

摘要: The present invention provides a wireless power transmission system having capability to supply mobile side DC load voltages at a plurality of voltage levels at minimized system manufacturing costs. An adaptive mobile side rectifier circuit operates in a full bridge rectifying mode or a half bridge rectifying mode depending on the voltage level of a mobile side load voltage to be supplied. A rectifying mode controller switches to the full bridge rectifying mode during supply of the mobile side load voltage at a lower load voltage level and switches to the half bridge rectifying mode during supply of the mobile load voltage at a higher load voltage level. The present invention also relates to a method of controlling the adaptive mobile side rectifier circuit.
