摘要: A process is disclosed for treating waste containing organic components in which, after dispersion of organic components in a pulper, separation of a suspension obtained in the pulper is carried out, which suspension can then be fed to a fermentation as highly organically polluted circulation water, and also a waste treatment system for carrying out this process.

摘要: A washout container (10) to which are mounted inclined ramps (12, 14) that allow a transit mixer, concrete pumping truck or other concrete handling vehicle to drive up over a portion of the container for dumping excess concrete and washing out waste concrete. The container cross-section may be rectangular to semi-circular, and is preferably fabricated with a steel structure. A watertight latching door assembly (40) is coupled to the container to prevent leakage of collected liquid concrete waste material while allowing solidified concrete materials to be unloaded at a disposal site. The interior of the container is preferably lined with a material to which concrete will not adhere. The liner may be applied as a coating to the interior of the container or as a solid material retained within the container. In this way, solidified waste concrete can be easily removed from the container at the disposal site and preferably crushed for recycling.

摘要: The invention relates to a disposal device for sanitary waste, consisting of a fixed drum-like container (20) having a horizontal central axis (MA) and supply lines for dosed washing liquid (WF), sanitary liquid (HF), and dosed chemical products (CH). An outlet channel (65) is provided in the bottom region of the container (20), for transporting the ground sanitary waste through which washing liquid flows from the bottom region of the container (20). A vertical cutting disk (30), which can be rotationally driven and comprises blades (31) oriented towards the inner chamber (27) of the container (20), is arranged in the inner chamber (27) of the container, in the region of the two vertical front walls (21; 22) thereof. An upwardly guided compressor worm (60) is connected to the outlet channel (65) and forms a functional unit, with a shearing perforated plate (70) for separating the ground sanitary waste containing solid constituents from the washing liquid (WF) in which the constituents of the sanitary waste are dissolved. The washing liquid is supplied to a waste water channel (85) by means of an evacuation line (80). In the upper region (61 b) of the housing (61), the remainder of the ground sanitary waste which comprises solid constituents and is free of liquid is supplied to a collecting tank (95) by means of the compressor worm (60).

摘要: This application relates to a circular clarifier for separating and removing separable matter, such as suspended solids, from a liquid. The invention may be used, for example, for separating return activated sludge from clarified liquor using a gas flotation process. The clarifier includes a plurality of fluid feed ports for introducing influent into selected treatment cells of the clarifier in a timed sequence, thereby achieving batch flotation of solids or other separable matter in a continuous infeed process. A plurality of spaced-apart, rotating flocculent handling assemblies traverse the treatment cells for sequentially conveying flocculent into spaced-apart, radially extending collection troughs. All of the flocculent handling assemblies may be driven by a single drive means. Each flocculent handling assembly includes a submerged beach and a scraper assembly including a scraper blade which extends upwardly from the beach. The beaches provide a shear plane underneath the surface layer of flocculent. The scraper assembly includes means for lifting the scraper blade in the vicinity of a trough to enable the blade to traverse over the trough and then descend to a position in contact with or proximate to a corresponding beach. Methods of using the clarifier to more efficiently handle return activated sludge or other fragile flocculent are also described. The clarifier may be stand-alone or adapted to retrofit existing circular primary or secondary sedimentation clarifiers.

摘要: Process for completely recovering the reusable components of an abrasive slurry used in slicing crystalline materials of silicon, quartz or ceramics when it becomes exhausted and enriched with undesired waste matter. The process consists of an initial centrifuge separation of the exhausted slurry as such and of a wet size-sorting treatment of the fraction containing the abrasive grains obtained from the centrifuge, carried out in a battery of hydrocyclones or centrifuges connected in series. The section for the recovery and purification of the abrasive grains comprises a multifunctional apparatus that performs all the required operations within a single pressure vessel. The process enables the complete recovery of the reusable abrasive grains contained in the exhausted slurry as well as of the suspending or cutting liquid of the abrasive slurry, in order to reuse both components in the manufacturing process. The invention also concerns an apparatus for carrying out the treatment of exhausted abrasive slurries according to the process described.

摘要: The method aims at obtaining from waste and more particularly from municipal solid waste (MSW) the energy contained therein at the highest level for industrial use by means of natural technologies and with low environmental impact. The method, denoted by the acronym NEW (Natural Energy from Waste) operates through the following process phases: a) aerobic digestion of the putrescible biological part to produce stabilised waste which is easy to handle, b) separation of a fraction rich in materials with a high heat value, c) storage of the residue, rich in biodegradable and inert substances, compacted into appropriate geometrical shapes in bioreactors which can be activated and sealed, d) activation of the bioreactors with water and their service in time during anaerobic digestion to supply biogas to be used for the production of energy, e) bio-stabilisation and dehydration of the residual material of the anaerobic treatment with air, f) possible recovery of the materials produced in this way. In this way the energy contained in the waste, is extracted at the most refined level in the form of plastic, plastic/paper and methane for energy uses with maximum yield and reduced production of ash, and the end material leaving the bioreactors is fully exhausted of its energy content and inertised.
