Die nach dem Verfahren der Erfindung herstellbaren (Aralkyl)-2-naphthole I sind wertvolle Ausgangsstoffe für die Herstellung von Farbstoffen, Schädlingsbekämpfungsmitteln, Pharmazeutika, Salben, Emulgatoren, Dispergiermitteln, Stabilisatoren, hydraulischen Flüssigkeiten, Weichmachern, Korrosionsinhibitoren, Desinfektionsmitteln, Pflanzenschutzmitteln.
