The invention relates to a thermally fusible interlining nonwoven comprising a fusing layer (A) composed of at least one staple fibre web including at least 50% by weight (based on the layer (A)) of intermelted and/or non-intermelted thermoplastic staple fibres whose melting and/or softening temperature is in the range between 60 and 165°C, and also a layer (B) composed of at least one staple fibre web or nonwoven including from 80% by weight to 100% by weight (based on the layer (B)) of staple fibres having a softening and melting temperature or, if not applicable, a decomposition temperature above 170°C, wherein the layers (A) and (B) are bonded together. The invention further relates to a process for producing an interlining nonwoven of the invention and also to preferred uses of this interlining nonwoven.

The invention relates to a method for making an acoustic processing panel, comprising an acoustically resistive porous layer (12), at least one cellular structure (14), a reflective structure (16) with openings, and a drainage plate (22) including at least one furrow for defining at least one discharge pipe (20) when said drainage plate (22) is pressed against the free surface of the reflective layer (16), characterised in that the method consists of: if necessary, shaping the reflective layer (16) according to the final shape thereof; applying a stripping film (26) on at least one portion of the free surface of the reflective layer (16); positioning at least one core (28), having a section adapted to that of the discharge pipe (20), on the stripping film (26) so that said at least one core (28) covers the openings (18) in the reflective layer (16); moulding the drainage plate (22) on said stripping film (26) and said at least one core (28); stripping the drainage plate (22) and withdrawing said at least one core (28) and said stripping film (26); and connecting the drainage plate (22) to the free surface of the reflective layer (16).

In the general building and furniture industries, but notably in naval and yacht applications, the problem arises to reinforce, or to give other desired physical properties to materials, e.g. stone, used as linings or coverings. This problem is actually well solved for planar slabs. This invention discloses a method for solving the problem also in the case of non planar slabs, completing and giving general use and application to this technology. The invention teaches how to make it possible, by destructuring the reinforcing material, for it to match the form of the internal surface of the non planar stone slab to be reinforced; and, by restructuring and strongly binding it to the internal surface of the stone slab, to confer to the same the desired properties. For a lightweight and strong solution, a cellular structure (honeycomb) is recommended; for improving other physical properties, other materials like polyurethane foams can be used.
