Abstract: Methods and apparatus to remove gas and vapor from a panel for a decorative layer are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a first press plate of a hot press to engage a first surface of a panel. The hot press is to apply heat to the panel via the first press plate to cure resin of the panel. A first portion of the first press plate is composed of a permeable material to remove at least one of gas or vapor from the panel to deter the at least one of gas or vapor from exerting a pressure on a decorative layer to be coupled to the panel to deter separation of a portion of the decorative layer from the panel. Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a device for producing a material composite (2) having at least two layers (3, 4) made of a metal material and at least one layer arranged between the two layers and made of a polymer matrix material (5), comprising the following steps: providing two metal bundles (6, 7), and a bundle (8) with a polymer film, unwinding the bundles and continuously supplying the metal bands (3, 4) and the polymer film (5) to a respective pre-heating unit; pre-heating the metal bands (3, 4) and the polymer film (5) in the pre-heating units (9, 10, 11) and continuously supplying to a coating-laminating-calendering unit (12) to create a material composite using pressure and/or temperature, subsequently supplying the composite (2) to at least one cooling unit (13) and/or at least one post-processing unit (14) and subsequently cutting to length the material composite to form sheets or winding up the material composite to form a bundle, wherein the first and the second metal band (3, 4) pass through at least a respective pre-treatment unit in a conditioning station (16.1, 17.1) between the unwinding and the pre-heating units (9, 10, 11), and the respective conditioned sides of the metal bands (3, 4) are brought into contact with the polymer film (5) in the coating-laminating-calendering unit (12) and joined to one another.

Abstract: A process is proposed for production of composite elements (12) having at least one outer layer (14) and an isocyanate-based rigid foam (16). The outer layer (14) is moved continuously, and liquid starting material for the isocyanate-based rigid foam (16) is applied to the outer layer (14). The liquid starting material for the isocyanate-based rigid foam (16) is applied by means of at least one fixed tube (18) provided with openings (20). The liquid starting material comprises at least one compound that reacts with isocyanate groups to form urethane, and a polyisocyanate and a blowing agent. The blowing agent has a boiling point of +15°C to +250°C at atmospheric pressure. The compound that reacts with isocyanate groups to form urethane or the polyisocyanate is laden with at least one fluid having a boiling point lower than +15°C at atmospheric pressure under a pressure above atmospheric pressure.

Abstract: Ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines flächigen Verbundbauteils mit einer zwischen zwei Deckschichten (A, A') angeordneten und stoffschlüssig damit verbundenen Kernschicht (B), wobei mindestens eine Deckschicht (A) einen Deckschicht-Thermoplasten enthält und wobei die Kernschicht (B) einen Kernschicht-Thermoplasten enthält, umfasst die folgenden Schritte:
a) es wird ein aufgeheizter Stapel der Schichtenfolge A-B-A' bereitgestellt;
b) der aufgeheizte Stapel (A-B-A') wird verpresst;
c) der verpresste Stapel wird abgekühlt, wobei das flächige Verbundbauteil mit konsolidierten und stoffschlüssig miteinander verbundenen Schichten gebildet wird.
Zur Erweiterung des Anwendungsbereiches einschliesslich der Herstellung von flächigen 3D-Bauteilen wird vorgeschlgen, dass
- mindestens eine der Deckschichten (A, A') in unkonsolidierter Form eine Faservliesschicht aus 10 bis 100 Gew.% Thermoplastfasern des Deckschicht-Thermoplasten und 0 bis 90 Gew.% Verstärkungsfasern mit einem Flächengewicht von 300 bis 3'000 g/m 2 umfasst;
- die Kernschicht (B) in unkonsolidierter Form mindestens eine aus Verstärkungsfasern und Thermoplastfasern des Kernschicht-Thermoplasten gebildete Wirrfaservliesschicht (D) umfasst,
