    摘要: A disposable, cone-stack, self-driven centrifuge rotor assembly (20) for separating particulate matter out of a circulating flow of oil includes first and second rotor shell portions (22 and 23) which are injection molded out of plastic and joined together by ultrasonically welding engaging edges (26 and 27) so as to create an enclosing shell with a hollow interior. An injection molded, plastic support hub (25) is assembled into a central opening in the lower half (23) of the rotor shell and extends upwardly into the hollow interior. An injection molded, plastic bearing/alignment spool (24) is assembled into a central opening in the upper portion (22) of the rotor shell and extends downwardly into the hollow interior. A cone-stack subassembly (21), including a plurality of individual separation cones which are injection molded out of plastic, are arranged into an aligned stack and positioned within the hollow interior and cooperatively assembled between the support hub (25) and the bearing/alignment spool (24). The all plastic construction for the centrifuge rotor assembly (20) allows the entire assembly (20) to be disposed of without any disassembly required.

Connected to the base is a centrifuge shell (28) which defines a hollow interior space A disposable liner (24) is positioned within the centrifuge shell, allowing any sludge that is collected to be easily disposable without the need to clean other portions of the centrifuge. A hollow rotor hub (39) having a central axis of rotation is assembled to the base and extends through the hollow interior space. A support plate (33) is positioned within the hollow interior space and, in cooperation with the rotor hub, defines an annular flow exit opening (32) for the circulating liquid. Positioned within the hollow interior space is a separation vane module (21) which is constructed and arranged so as to extend around the rotor hub and positioned so as to be supported by the support plate. The separation vane module includes a plurality of axially-extending and spaced-apart separation vanes (25).

A bearing arrangement is positioned between the rotor hub and the shaft centertube for rotary motion of the cone-stack assembly. An impulse-turbine wheel is attached to the rotor hub and a flow jet nozzle (172) is positioned so as to be directed at the turbine wheel. The flow jet nozzle (172) is coupled to the second passageway (174) for directing a flow jet of liquid at the turbine wheel in order to impart rotary motion to the cone-stack assembly. The liquid for the flow jet nozzle (172) enters the cone-stack centrifuge by way of the liquid inlet. The same liquid inlet also provides the liquid which is circulated through the cone-stack assembly. A honeycomb-like insert (170) is assembled into the flow jet nozzle (172) in order to reduce inlet turbulence and improve the turbine efficiency.

A bearing arrangement is positioned between the rotor hub (24) and the shaft centertube (23) for rotary motion of the cone-stack assembly (25). An impulse-turbine wheel (29) is attached to the rotor hub (24) and a flow jet nozzle (27) is positioned so as to be directed at the turbine wheel (29). The flow jet nozzle (27) is coupled to the second passageway (84) for directing a flow jet of liquid at the turbine wheel (29) in order to impart rotary motion to the cone-stack assembly (25). The liquid for the flow jet nozzle (27) enters the cone-stack centrifuge by way of the liquid inlet (82). The same liquid inlet also provides the liquid which is circulated through the cone-stack assembly (25).
