    摘要: The present invention discloses a gas sensing device, an oxygen pumping cell, and a NOX gas detection apparatus using the same for detecting lower ranges of NOX gas concentration with high accuracy and stability. An under layer (15) made of oxygen-ion-conductive solid electrolyte was formed between an electrolyte substrate (1) and a sensing electrode (5), a conversion electrode or a gas treatment electrode. This allows the physical and chemical adhesion between these electrodes and the electrolyte substrate, thereby improving the sensing properties and stability.

    摘要: The present invention discloses a NOx sensor for accurately detecting the total concentration of nitrogen oxides in a measured gas without being affected by interference gases. The sensor comprises a gas treatment chamber (5) arranged at the prior stage of the gas detection chamber (3), an inorganic porous member (25) loaded in the gas treatment chamber, and a NOx conversion pumping cell (14,15) and/or an oxygen supplying pumping cell which supplies oxygen into the gas treatment chamber. When the measured gas is introduced in the gas treatment chamber, the interference gases contained in the measured gas are effectively oxidized by the supplied oxygen under the assistance of the catalytic activity of inorganic porous member. The total amount of the nitrogen oxides is measured in the gas detection chamber while NOx in the measured gas are converted into a single component (NO 2 or NO) by the NOx conversion pumping cell after the interference gases are oxidized.

    摘要: An impact and a vibration are applied to a portion of a piston ring (35) on which a belt body (17) is wound, and a vibration is also applied to the belt body. A position where a desired tension can be obtained is obtained by using a master gauge (31) having an outer diameter equal to the inner diameter of a cylinder, and the like. When measuring the tension, a measuring mechanism (21) is moved to this position. The frictional force between the piston ring (35) and the belt body (17) can be considerably decreased, and a closed gap need not be measured every time measurement is performed. Accordingly, the tension of the piston ring can be stably measured at high precision within a short period of time.

To this end, grooves (14, 15) are formed in an inner circumferential surface (16) of a compression ring (11) in such a manner that centers of those grooves are positioned above a transverse center of the ring. Since the necessity of inner cutting is obviated, it is possible to enlarge the cross-sectional area of a projecting portion (12).

The composition of the coating may be CrN, Cr 2 N or a mixture thereof in a uniform phase and the crystals of the coating are preferably oriented with the (111) face parallel to the surface.
