摘要: An isolator circuit (25) for a unit of a safety system (10) includes a power control line (14) connectable to a first loop of a safety system and a power connection (16) connectable to a second loop of the safety system. A switch (26) is connected to the power control line (14), and the switch has a closed configuration and an open configuration. A controller (28) controls the configuration of the switch (26). If a voltage across the circuit (10) from the power connection (16) to the power control line (14) falls below a predetermined level, the controller (28) opens the switch (26), thereby causing a disconnection to occur in the first loop.

摘要: A service management system facilitates and validates service on building management systems. A service workflow module receives device events from control panels of the building management systems and combines them with local service data from mobile computing devices of technicians performing the service, generating service events. The service workflow module receives ambient radiofrequency (RF) signal data detected from the location of serviced devices. A validation module stores the ambient RF signal data and generates and a device fingerprint based on the ambient RF signal data. After device fingerprints based on the ambient RF signal data have been accumulated, the validation module determines whether current service events and ambient RF signal data are coherent with the device fingerprints and previous ambient RF signal data. The service workflow module also infers the location of the technician based on the ambient RF signal data and sends navigation information to the mobile computing device.

A connected services database stores service events based on services performed on devices of different building management systems along with information about technicians performing the services, buildings containing the building management systems and devices being serviced. A service data aggregator retrieves the service events from the connected services database and generates prediction information and validation information based on the service events and other information. The prediction information includes a predicted duration and cost of different types of service as well as a predicted service interval for devices requiring periodic service. The validation information includes whether services performed by a particular technician need to be reviewed or audited, or whether the particular technician needs additional training or oversight, based on comparing the duration of services performed by the particular technician to the duration of services performed by all technicians.

摘要: A service management system facilitates service on building management systems. A connected services system of a connected services system stores temperature information from temperature detectors of building management systems (including heat detectors of fire alarm systems and thermostats of building automation systems), which send sensor values to control panels, which, in turn, send the temperature information to the connected services system. A temperature detector evaluation module of the connected services system retrieves the temperature information from the connected services database, generates aggregate temperature information based on the temperature information and then determines which of the temperature detectors require service based on the aggregate temperature information, for example, by detecting outlier temperature information. Scheduled service tasks for the temperature detectors requiring service are then pushed to a service workflow module, which sends the scheduled service tasks to a mobile computing device operated by a technician performing the service.
