摘要: A method for producing para-xylene from a xylene-containing feedstock, wherein a first fraction is enriched to at least 30 wt.% with para-xylene, and said fraction is purified by means of at least one high-temperature crystallisation step performed in at least one crystallisation zone. Specifically, said first fraction enriched to at least 30 wt.% with para-xylene is crystallised in a crystallisation zone (50) at a high temperature (T1), advantageously between +10 and -25 °C, a suspension of crystals in a mother liquor is recovered, the crystals are separated from the mother liquor in at least a first separation zone (52), the resulting crystals are partially melted in at least one partial melting zone (55), a crystal suspension is recovered, the crystal suspension is separated and washed in at least one separation and washing zone (57), and pure para-xylene crystals and a washing liquor (58) are recovered, whereafter said pure crystals are optionally completely melted (61) and a liquid stream (60) of molten para-xylene is recovered. The mother liquor may be crystallised in a second crystallisation zone at a high temperature (T2) lower than the first (T1), and the second crystals may be partially melted, separated and washed as above.

摘要: To provide long-term regular monitoring of an underground area, a stationary seismic transceiver device is positioned at the production site so that stable operating conditions are maintained at all times, i.e. constant transmission/reception locations, constant earth coupling quality, etc. The device comprises a plurality of seismic sources (S1 ... Sn) placed in fixed locations on the surface or buried at a shallow depth, on either side of a production shaft (1), and one or more receiver assemblies (R) permanently mounted on the surface or in one or more wells. Explosive sources, positive-pressure hydraulic sources, electro-mechanical sources, etc., may be connected to a power supply facility (3). They use an explosive gas mixture optionally comprising a component drawn from the area being monitored, and a pressurised fluid transmitting hydraulic shocks or vibrations, etc., via buried ducts or cables (2), and the power supply to and operation of the sources are controlled by a central control and recording station (4). The device is useful for monitoring the filling of an underground cavity, e.g. for gas storage.

摘要: A device for monitoring the ageing of coolant fluids in heat exchanging circuits. The device includes a member (4) contacting the liquid to be monitored, an electrical member (51) separated from the liquid-contacting element (4) by an insulating space (6) containing a fluid at a given pressure, said electrical element responding to the degree of corrosion of the liquid-contacting element, and an alarm (8) responding to a change in the signal from the electrical element. Said liquid-contacting element consists of at least one plate (41) made of a material which is present elsewhere in the circuit and contacts said fluid (3) therein, and said electrical element consists of an element made of a piezoelectric material with a frequency that varies depending on changes in the pressure in the insulating space (6).
