摘要： A dish -washing machine has a control system, which includes means for selection, start-up, and control of a plurality of treatment programs, and a tank (30) for accumulation of water. The programs of the plurality comprise: - at least one program, which includes a step of filling the tank (30) with water; - at least one program, which includes a step of emptying the tank (30) into a wash tub (3) and a subsequent step of treatment of dishes performed using the water discharged from the tank into the wash tub; and - at least one treatment program that does not include steps of treatment of dishes using water discharged from the tank into the wash tub. When the stay time of the water inside the tank is equal to or longer than a prefixed value, there are envisaged operations of: 1) performing a forced emptying of the tank in a step of any program of the plurality that is started after the stay time of the water inside the tank has reached or exceeded the prefixed value; and 2) evacuating from the wash tub the water discharged from the tank following upon the aforesaid forced emptying, without using said water for execution of the step of treatment of dishes.
