    摘要: An apparatus for reading optical card wherein a light source illuminates an optical card (1) so that data stored in an even number of tracks T in parallel with each other are optically read depending upon the arrangement of optical recording traces, the reflected light is allowed to fall on an optical detector element (10) to read the data, scanning means (31) so controls the light detector element (10) that it scans each track T an even number of times, effective scan detector means (42) detects effective scans capable of reading the data out of the even number of scans over the track T performed by the light detector element (10), and the output signal of the light detector element (10) is extracted for only a period of one scanning of the scanning means (31) by extract means (45) depending upon the detected output, whereby signals that correspond to the optical recording traces exhibits improved contrast, the two neighboring tracks are not read simultaneously, and recorded data are read correctly and stably.
