摘要: A building panel assembly comprises a translucent panel (2) and a spacer (4) to bridge the gap between the translucent panel (2) and a support such as a purlin (3). The spacer (4) is not pre-attached to the translucent panel (2) but is coupled on site to the purlin (3) using a magnetic effect. In this way the spacer is conveniently held in place on the purlin whilst the translucent panel is aligned and then fixed in place using a fixing pin (5).

摘要: A fire retardant insulating board 1 comprises a foam core 2 having facings 3, 4 on both faces thereof. The foam core is reinforced by a glass fiber scrim 5 having a weight of from 8 to 24, preferably 10 to 20 and ideally approximately 13.6 g/m 2 of board. To produce the board 1 in a continuous manufacturing process the facings 3, 4 with the scrim 5 and foam reactants are passed under a nip bar 30 to thoroughly wet out the scrim 5 before allowing the foam to expand.

摘要: An insulating panel 1 comprises a first sheet 2 with trapezoidal formations 12 and a second sheet 3. There is an insulating core 4 comprising a main polymeric foam body 4, such as of polyisocyansurate or phenolic foam, and a recycled foam portion. The recycled foam portion is of substantially the same formulation as that of the main foam body. Shredded foam pieces 25 are directly incorporated into the panel, for example into one or more of the profiled recesses 12 defined by crowns in the sheet 2. In the invention the recycled foam portion is introduced prior to lay-down of liquid foam reactants to ensure that the recycled foam portion is integrated into the main foam body.

摘要: An insulating panel includes a first sheet, a second sheet, and a body of insulating foam between the sheets. The foam has a plurality of longitudinally extending conduits through which a heat exchange medium such as air is circulated. A barrier is used to create an enlarged void space for air circulation. The barrier is located below profile crowns to prevent foam from entering the crowns and to create additional foam-free voids below the crown. Heat transfer efficiency is increased.

摘要: A composite cladding panel 1 comprises a backing tray 2 and an external skin 3 with a layer of foam insulation 4 therebetween. A plurality of spacers 10 are attached to the external skin 3. The spacers 10 are of top-hat form with mounting legs 41 for mounting to the skin 3 and a support 40 to which side edge clips 20 are mounted. The clips 20 have spaced-apart formations 21 that engage in corresponding side edge recesses 22 of tiles 5. The top hat spacers 10 space the tiles 5 apart from the skin 3 of the panel so that the tiles 5 define with the skin 3 ventilation passageways 30 which can remove moisture.
