Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a charging assembly (40) comprising a charging plug (1) and a charging cable (2) for connecting a charging station to the battery of an electric vehicle. The first and the second conductor end piece (5, 10) each comprise at least one cooling surface (14) which are during operation exposed to a circulating cooling agent (15), which cooling surface (14) is fluidly interconnected to a respective cladding tube (16) surrounding the first or the second conductor (7, 12) for conducting the circulating cooling agent (15) along the first or the second conductor (7, 12).
