    摘要: A resin composition capable of producing a molded article excellent in transparency, heat resistance, surface hardness, impact resistance and hue is provided. According to the present invention, there is provided a resin composition comprising 15 to 100 mass% of a styrene-based copolymer (A) and 0 to 85 mass% of a methacrylic resin(B), wherein the styrene-based copolymer (A) comprises 45 to 85 mass% of an aromatic vinyl monomer unit, 5 to 45 mass% of a (meth)acrylic ester monomer unit, and 10 to 30 mass% of an unsaturated dicarboxylic anhydride monomer unit, and has a weight average molecular weight(Mw) of 100,000 to 300,000, and a total light transmittance of 89 % or more for a thickness of 2 mm.

    摘要: The present invention provides polymer compositions of one or more phosphorus acid group containing, polymers of six-membered cyclic methacrylic acid imide comprising a backbone polymer having one or more one methacrylic acid in polymerized form or its salt, quaternary ammonium group, ester side chain group or amide side chain group, wherein the backbone polymers comprise from 60 to 100 wt. %, based on the total weight of monomers used to make the backbone polymer, of total methacrylic acid polymerized units, regardless of their form, and wherein a total of from 7.5 to 95 wt. %, or, preferably, less than 70 wt. % of the methacrylic acid polymerized units comprise methacrylic anhydride groups or six-membered cyclic methacrylic imide groups. The polymer can be readily tailored to boost modulus and modify surface energies when added to polymers like polyolefins, and to make them compatible with other polymers, like polyamide.

    摘要: The invention relates to a chemically modified polymer and to a method for producing the chemically modified polymer, in particular chemically modified polyolefins. First, a polymer to be modified and additionally a modifying reagent are fed to a reaction zone of a reactor and then the polymer and the modifying reagent are fed through the reaction zone, wherein at the same time energy is input into the polymer such that the polymer is activated and a chemical reaction of the activated polymer with the modifying reagent into the modified polymer occurs as a result of the input energy. The dwell time of the polymer in the reaction zone and the temperature in the region of the reaction zone are selected in such a way that polymerization and depolymerization stay approximately in balance.
