Abstract:
Coupling system housings including a receptacle housing with a domed protective door and a male coupler housing that may be used to actuate the receptacle housing door are disclosed. The receptacle housing may be mounted in a receiving structure. The receptacle housing is configured with a dome-shaped door that conceals and protects the connectors of an assembled receptacle when in the closed position. The receptacle housing also includes a biasing mechanism that urges the door to a closed position and maintains the door in its closed position when a male coupler is not mated to the receptacle. The male coupler housing is configured with an ergonomic handle suitable for one handed operation of the male coupler. The male coupler housing may be used to actuate the receptacle housing door during insertion and mating of and assembled male coupler to an assembled receptacle.
Abstract:
An electrical connector for LED flexible epoxy light bar, it is characterized in that it comprises a main body (2) and a lid buckled (4) with the said main body, the said body includes a plurality of conductive puncture portions(3); one side of the main body is connected to a plurality of wires(1), the said conductive puncture portions are connected with corresponding wires one by one, one end of the light bar (10) is held between said main body and lid, the said conductive puncture portions pierces the copper wire plate (9) at one end of the corresponding light bar. This electrical connector requires only pressing the lid to achieve the connection between the light bar and wire, so it is easily installed, no any specialized tools required; in addition, the single point may carry 5A current; furthermore, it is compact, less area of land occupied; light weight, and easily hung up.
Abstract:
A magnetic connector system having a durable and reliable construction and a reduced height while maintaining sufficient holding strength. A connector insert may utilize a crimping piece to crimp a braiding of a cable. The crimping piece may be fixed to an attraction plate and a board in the insert for mechanical reliability. Retention clips may be used to fix a shell to the attraction plate. A connector receptacle may employ a magnetically conductive label to improve holding strength.
Abstract:
The invention describes an adapter part (2, 9) for a modular lighting assembly (1) comprising a number of light-emitting diodes (4) mounted on a separate base part (3), which adapter part (2, 9) comprises a number of first electrical connectors (21) arranged to connect the light-emitting diodes (4) to an external power supply; at least one electrical component (5) arranged in a body of the adapter part (2, 9); and a number of second electrical connectors (22) arranged to connect external circuitry to an electrical component (5) arranged in the body of the adapter part (2, 9). The invention further describes a modular lighting assembly (1) comprising a base part (3) upon which a number of light-emitting diodes (4) is mounted; and an adapter part (2, 9) according to the invention. The invention also describes a method of assembling such a modular lighting arrangement (1), comprising the steps of connecting a first adapter part (2, 9) according to the invention to a separate base part (3); choosing a number of electrical components (5, 6) on the basis of an application requirement of the modular lighting arrangement (1); and arranging an electrical component (5, 6) in the adapter part (2, 9) such that an electrical connection is formed between a contact surface of the electrical component (5, 6) and a second electrical connector (22) of the adapter part (2, 9).
