    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and a system for operating a sensor device. The method comprising generating an electrical energy corresponding to a heat dissipated from a surface of an equipment. Thereafter, the method comprises regulating the electrical energy to generate an optimum output voltage using a maximum power point tracking technique and feeding the optimum output voltage to charge an energy storage device. Subsequently, the method comprises triggering a sensor device to acquire sensor data when a charge stored in the energy storage device is equal to or greater than a pre-defined threshold value. In one embodiment, the method comprises transmitting the sensor data to a receiving device. The present disclosure overcomes (1) the need for a power supply or a battery to operate sensor device, and (2) the use of wiring harness associated with thermocouples typically found in conventional temperature sensing system.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a wireless electronics device comprising:
    - an antenna (202) for receiving a radio frequency signal;
    - an energy storage device for storing electrical energy;
    - a frequency detection circuit configured to detect whether the received radio frequency signal is in a first frequency range or in a second frequency range, the first and second frequency ranges being non-overlapping;
    - a first communications circuit configured to transmits a first return signal if the radio frequency signal is in the first frequency range and to establish wireless charging of the energy storage device according to a first protocol; and
    - a second communications circuit configured to transmits a second return signal if the radio frequency signal is in the second frequency range and to establish wireless charging of the energy storage device according to a second protocol.

    Abstract: An electronic device for low-voltage electrical installations comprising:
    - a first operational unit having a first insulating housing;
    - a data processing arrangement accommodated in the internal volume of said first operational unit and configured to receive and process detection signals indicative of one or more physical quantities and provided by one or more sensors;
    - a flexible belt of magnetic material having an intermediate portion and opposite first and second end portions. Said intermediate portion passes through the internal volume of said operational unit and is mechanically coupled to said first insulating housing. Said first and second end portions are configured to wrap around a current carrying conductor to form a loop around said current carrying conductor;
    - a power supply arrangement configured to feed said data processing arrangement by harvesting electric energy from a magnetic field generated by a current flowing along said current carrying conductor. The power supply arrangement includes a magnetic core formed by said belt of magnetic material and a secondary winding conductor accommodated in the internal volume of said first operational unit. The secondary winding conductor is wound around the intermediate portion of said belt of magnetic material and electrically connected to said data processing arrangement;
    - a second operational unit configured to couple mechanically, in removable manner, the first and second end portions of said belt of magnetic material one to another to secure said electronic device to said current carrying conductor.
