The transmission-side MCU 23A, 23B generates a communication connection request including, in a transmission packet, specific company identification information and communication data having device information corresponding to the control target apparatus and command data for controlling such a device, and the reception-side communication IC 27A, 27B supplies a specific control command to a device MCU 31A, 31B of the control target apparatus when identification information from a remote matches identification information already stored inside.

摘要: Certain aspects involve an interface device for a distributed antenna system (“DAS”). In some aspects, the interface device can include an interface, a power detector, and a processor. The interface can include one or more ports for communicatively coupling the interface device to a base station and a switch that is switchable between first and second configurations. The first configuration connects a port to a downlink path of the DAS, and the second configuration connects the port to a signal reflection path. The processor can switch the switch between the first and second configurations based on a signal power measured by the power detector at the port. In other aspects, the interface device can include additional ports and termination loads. The processor can cause a signal path to be connected to a termination load instead of a port based on the port being disconnected from a unit of the DAS.

摘要: A method is provided for use in a mobile communication terminal configured to support a plurality of applications, wherein each application is executed by performing one or more tasks. The method includes, in response to a scheduling request from an application, obtaining an indication of power supply condition at a requested run-time of at least one of the tasks. The method further includes obtaining a prediction of a rate of energy usage by the task at the requested run-time, estimating, from the predicted rate of energy usage, a total amount of energy needed to complete the task, and making a scheduling decision for the task. The scheduling decision comprises making a selection from a group of two or more alternative dispositions for the task. The selection is made according to a criterion that relates the run-time power-supply condition to the predicted rate of energy usage by the task and to the estimate of total energy needed to complete the task.

摘要: The remaining level of battery charge in a wireless communication unit, such as a mobile telephone or a wireless peripheral, is determined and an indication is provided as to whether the remaining charge will be sufficient to perform a future application scheduled for the unit. For example, a scheduled call may be expected and the remaining time on the battery may be insufficient to last; this may be displayed to the user. Alternatively, recommendations may be made to e.g. charge the battery or stop using some current functions. The expected power profile of future applications may be used to predict if the remaining battery charge is sufficient or if recharging is needed. Also disclosed is a method of wirelessly requesting battery charge information from e.g. a peripheral that may not have a battery level display and transmitting the remaining battery capacity back to e.g. a mobile device. Third parties may also request battery charge level information in another aspect.
