    According to the invention, a first and at least a second main component (A, B) are mixed by feeding them into a limited area (2a) of a mixing chamber (2), through lateral inlet apertures (3, 4) symmetrically arranged with respect to a plane comprising the longitudinal axis of the chamber (2), and in which a third or secondary component (C) to be mixed is fed in through a channel (9a) opening in the chamber upstream of said inlet apertures (3, 4) and orientated so as to direct the flow of the third component (C) towards said mixing area (2a) in the direction of flow of the mixture.
