摘要: A production method of an elastically stretchable artificial leather which includes a step of making microfiberizable fibers into a web; a step of entangling the obtained web to produce an entangled nonwoven fabric; a step of converting the microfiberizable fibers in the nonwoven fabric to microfine fibers, thereby producing a substrate for artificial leather; a step of producing an artificial leather by using the obtained substrate for artificial leather; and a step wherein the obtained artificial leather is brought into close contact with an elastomer sheet stretched in a machine direction by 5 to 40%; the artificial leather is allowed to shrink in the machine direction simultaneously with allowing the elastomer sheet to shrink in the machine direction by relaxing elongation of the elastomer sheet; the artificial leather is heat-treated in shrunk state; and then the artificial leather is peeled off from the elastomer sheet.

摘要: Disclosed is a leather-like sheet, comprising a microfiber interlaced body formed from a microfiber bundle and a polymeric elastic body provided in the inside of the interlaced body. The microfiber bundle comprises extremely fine unit fibers having an average cross section of 0.1 to 30 μm2, has an average cross section of 40 to 400 μm2, and is formed at a density of 600 to 4000 pieces/mm2 as measured on an arbitrary cross section parallel with the thickness-wise direction of the microfiber interlaced body. The polymeric elastic body contains a polymer of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer in an amount of 30 to 100% by mass, wherein the polymer of the ethylenically unsaturated monomer comprises a soft component having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of less than -5°C and a crosslinkable component and optionally a hard component having a glass-transient temperature (Tg) exceeding 50°C and other components. In the leather-like sheet, the polymer of the ethylenically unsaturated monomer is fixed to a microfiber present in the inside of the microfiber bundle. The leather-like sheet has a natural leather-like flexibility, a texture (e.g., solid touch feeling) and expensive aesthetic appearance and is excellent in stability of quality (e.g., rigidity, surface wear resistance) and practical performance.
