The invention relates to a roofing tile composed of concrete material and to a method for producing such a roofing tile, wherein the concrete material comprises a binder, a gravel, a light-weight aggregate, and added water and the roofing tile has at least one watercourse and a lateral interlocking joint consisting of a covering fold and a water fold, wherein, according to the invention, the ratio of water to binder is less than 0.3, the light-weight aggregate is composed of a material that is hydrophobic and/or not hygroscopic, the roofing tile has a density in the range of 1.6 g/cm 3 to 1.9 g/cm 3 after the hardening, wherein the roofing tile has a thickness of 5 mm to 9 mm, preferably 7 mm to 8 mm, in the highly loaded regions, preferably in the region of the watercourse. The roofing tile according to the invention can be economically produced in the extrusion method with low material costs, has a signficantly reduced weight, and has strength comparable to conventional roofing tiles over the long term. The roofing tile can be combined both with further roofing tiles according to the invention and with conventional roofing tiles in order to form a roof-covering assembly.

The present invention provides a method for producing a honeycomb filter in which scattering of organic decomposed materials, carbon, silica, and the like is suppressed in the degreasing step and the firing step to suppress attachment of organic decomposed materials, carbon, silica, and the like to the furnace walls, and the honeycomb filter can be efficiently produced under stable conditions. The method for producing a honeycomb filter of the present invention includes a molded body raw material preparing step of mixing silicon carbide powder, organic additives at least including an organic binder, and a silica-based pore-forming agent to prepare a raw material composition as a molded body raw material; a molded body producing step of extruding the prepared molded body raw material into a honeycomb molded body; a degreasing step of degreasing the produced honeycomb molded body; and a firing step of firing the degreased honeycomb molded body, wherein at the end of the degreasing step, the degreased honeycomb molded body contains silica including the silica-based pore-forming agent and carbon, and in the firing step, the silica is allowed to react with the carbon to synthesis silicon carbide.
