摘要:
There are disclosed a measuring apparatus and method for measuring the pull-off force of frangible means connecting a capsule with a tamper evident band of closed annular shape, with an annular ridge that axially retains the tamper evident band, a pusher element that pushes the capsule so as to cause the breakage of the frangible means, sensor means to detect the tensile force applied by the pusher element, and a lifting and abutting device arranged for supply the capsule to the annular ridge. There are further disclosed band disengagement means for disengaging the tamper evident band from the annular ridge after the breakage of the frangible means, yet maintaining intact the closed annular shape of the tamper evident band.

The present invention relates generally to a system and method for measuring the structural characteristics of an object. The object is subjected to an energy application processes and provides an objective, quantitative measurement of structural characteristics of an object. The system may include a device, for example, a percussion instrument, capable of being reproducibly placed against the object undergoing such measurement for reproducible positioning. The system includes features for adjusting the energy applied to an energy application tool to compensate for orientation of the device relative to the horizontal. The system also includes a disposable feature or assembly for minimizing cross-contamination between tests. The structural characteristics as defined herein may include vibration damping capacities, acoustic damping capacities, structural integrity or structural stability.

A material tester capable of presenting information enabling a user to easily determine whether or not a filtering condition is appropriate is provided. A personal computer (42), as functional blocks of a program installed in a memory (53), includes a filtering processing part (61) that eliminates noise from raw data acquired by digitalizing an input signal from a load cell or an extensometer, a filter setting part (62) that sets a filtering condition applied to the raw data in the filtering processing part (61), and a display control part (65) that displays the raw data and the processed data, for which the filtering process has been performed by the filtering processing part (61), at the same scale and in different forms on a display device (51) in an overlapping manner.

Provided is a destructive inspection method and a quality determination method of vitreous silica crucible capable of inspecting in a condition as close as possible to the actual status of use. The destructive inspection method of the vitreous silica crucible according to the present disclosure, evaluates a crack state of an inner surface of a vitreous silica crucible 1 for pulling a silicon single crystal supported by a graphite susceptor 2 when a load is instantaneously applied to one point on the inner surface via an automatic center punch 10 while pushing the tip portion of the automatic center punch 10 against the inner surface.
