The invention concerns dye preparations which contain, in each case relative to the weight of the preparation, between 0.1 and 30 wt % of one or a plurality of methine dyes, between 0.1 and 20 wt % of a dispersant based on an arylsulphonic acid-formaldehyde condensation product, or between 0.1 and 20 wt % of a water-soluble dispersant based on alkoxylated phenols and optionally water. The invention further concerns the use of these dye preparations as inks in the ink-jet process and for textile sublimation transfer printing.
