摘要: The present invention provides a method of producing dye-containing thermosetting resin particles, the method including: dispersing seed particles formed from a thermosetting resin in a dispersion medium; and polymerizing a monomer for thermosetting resin synthesis in the thus obtained dispersion in the presence of a dye and an acid catalyst. By the method of producing dye-containing thermosetting resin particles according to the present invention, dye-containing thermosetting resin particles whose particle size variation coefficient is small at, for example, 8% or less, can be produced without performing a post-treatment such as centrifugation. Therefore, when immunological observation is performed by a fluorescent labeling method using fluorescent dye-containing resin particles produced by the method of producing dye-containing thermosetting resin particles according to the present invention, a high bright spot detection accuracy can be attained.

摘要: The present invention relates to [1] a process for producing pigment-containing modified polymer particles, including the step of reacting pigment-containing polymer particles (A) containing a functional group and a compound (B) containing a reactive group capable of reacting with the functional group of the polymer particles (A) in a medium under such a condition that a ratio [(B)/(A)] of total moles of the reactive group of the compound (B) to total moles of the functional group of the polymer particles (A) is from 0.10 to 0.62; [2] a pigment water dispersion including an aqueous medium and the modified polymer particles produced by the aforementioned process which are dispersed in the aqueous medium; and [3] an ink including the aforementioned pigment water dispersion and an organic solvent. The modified polymer particles are free from formation of coarse particles upon production of pigment particles, so that an ink obtained by using the modified polymer particles can be prevented from suffering from increase in viscosity thereof when the ink is being concentrated by evaporation of water from the ink, and is excellent in rub fastness when printed on a low-water absorbing recording medium.

摘要: The invention provides dispersed inorganic mixed metal oxide pigment compositions in a non-aqueous media utilizing a dispersant having terminal end groups and a central portion of the structure —[CH(A)-C(B)(D)]n-[CR2CR2]m- to disperse a mixed metal oxide pigment in the media. The metal oxide pigment is of the type used to colour ceramic or glass articles. A milling process using beads is also described to reduce the mixed metal oxide particle size to the desired range. A method of using the mixed metal oxide dispersion to digitally print an image on a ceramic or glass article using the dispersion jetted through a nozzle and subsequently firing the coloured article is also described.

摘要: Alterations to the ERG gene are some of the most prominent genomic changes associated with many cancers including prostate cancer. Such cancer specific alterations result in the overexpression of wild type ERG protein or an altered ERG protein. The present invention provides selective inhibitors of wild type or an altered ERG protein expression. The ERG inhibitors of the invention, therefore, are therapeutic agents for treating ERG positive cancers.
