Abstract:

Thermoplastic moulding compositions containing A) from 10 to 98% by weight of a thermoplastic polyamide, B) from 0.01 to 20% by weight of a highly branched melamine polymer or melamine-urea polymer or mixtures thereof, C) from 0 to 70% by weight of further additives, where the sum of the percentages by weight of the components A) to C) is 100%.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for producing amphiphilic functionalized highly branched melamine-polyamine polymers by condensing melamine and optionally a melamine derivate having at least one different amine having at least two primary amino groups and optionally also with urea and/or at least one urea derivative and/or with at least one at least difunctional diisocyanate or polyisocyanate and/or at least one carbolic acid having at least two carboxyl groups or at least one derivative thereof, optionally quaternizing a portion of the amino groups of the polymer thereby obtained, reacting the polymer thus obtained with at least one compound capable of undergoing a condensation or addition reaction with amino groups, and optionally quaternizing at least part of the amino groups of the polymer obtained in the first step. The invention further relates to the amphiphilic functionalized highly branched melamine-polyamine polymers that can be obtained by the method according to the invention, and to the use thereof as surface active agents.
Abstract:
The invention relates to foams comprising microballoons for sound absorption, comprising 40 to 85 wt % of open-cell polymer foam and 15 to 60 wt % of microballoons having a flexible outer coating, wherein the microballoons have a D50 value of at least 70 μm and no greater than 250 μm, relative to the total weight of polymer foam and microballoons, and to a method for the production thereof, comprising the steps I) impregnating an open-cell polymer foam with a liquid dispersion comprising expandable microballoons, II) optionally pressing/compressing and/or drying the polymer foam, and III) heat treating the impregnated polymer foam at a temperature above the expansion temperature and below the decomposition temperature of the expandable microballoons, for expanding the microballoons.
