Abstract:
An antireflective formed article which comprises a transparent substrate (1) and an antireflective layer (5) arranged on the surface of the transparent substrate (1), wherein a transparent window having the antireflective layer formed thereon has an average surface roughness (Ra) of 2.0 to 150 nm and has a flat surface or a curved surface which is convex on the surface side of the article and has a radius of curvature of 40 mm or more.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a moulded part, a method for the production thereof, and the use of the same. Said method consists of the following steps: a) a semifinished product is pressed in a hot-pressing tool to form a carrier part, and b) at least one decorative element that is at least partially provided with a duroplastic adhesive agent on the surface to be connected to the carrier part is laminated onto at least one surface of the carrier part, using the residual heat thereof.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A process for producing vulcanized rubber-resin composites by injecting a resin into a mold containing a vulcanized rubber molding therein, wherein the injection is carried out after the formation of a vulcanized adhesive layer mainly from brominated poly(2,3-dichlorobutadiene-1,3) on the joint area of the vulcanized rubber molding to thereby join the molding and the resin. This process can attain high adhesion between a vulcanized rubber molding and a resin layer without heat-treating the molding before the placement thereof in a mold or heat-treating the composite after the injection of a resin.
Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a molded article using lamination of a flocked surface onto a backing film is provided. Also provided is a flocked article comprising an antimicrobial agent.
Abstract:
A laminate structure having at least one layer of an ionomer resin (a) and at least one layer of an acid polymer or a blend of an acid polymer and a thermoplastic polyolefin (b) that can be thermoformed to form a shaped article and additional polyolefin substrate can be provided. The laminate can be pigmented to eliminate the need to paint the surface of the plastic substrate. The laminate is useful in the production of automotive parts and sports equipment.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method of moulding an article, the method comprising the steps of providing a mould (20) having a mould cavity (41); providing first and second films (26, 28), at least one of which has a length greater than the mould cavity (41); aligning said films (26, 28) relative to one another; injecting a thermoplastics material between the films (26, 28) to produce a moulded article (44) having the films (26, 28) attached thereto; and removing said article (44) from the mould (20).
Abstract:
The invention refers to a manufacturing method of an EL insert molding which can manufacture the EL element without damage while a temperature and a pressure of resin to be injected are maintained on an optimum forming condition, wherein a luminous portion 3A and a non-luminous portion 3B are provided in an EL element 3. The EL element 3 is inserted in a cavity 15 of an injection die, resin is injected into the cavity to manufacture the EL insert molding. In the cavity 15, a gate portion 18 is provided at a position opposite to the non-luminous portion 3B of the EL element 3. A decorative film 2 may be formed integrally in front of the EL element 3.
Abstract:
A process for preparing a laminate comprising a first substrate (I) and a second substrate (II) which comprises an ethylene or propylene polymer and which is bonded to the first substrate by means of a polymeric adhesive, wherein the process comprises the steps of: A) applying to the first substrate (I) a primer comprising an organic solvent and an ethylene or propylene polymer having grafted thereto an unsaturated carboxylic acid or an anhydride, ester, amide, imide or metal salt thereof, and B) injection molding an ethylene or propylene polymer and optional additives onto the primed substrate (I).
