The invention provides a powder coating composition comprising of thermoplastic polymers, ceramic particles, and cermet particles for lowering the friction coefficient, and improving wear and corrosion resistance of coated surfaces in high-temperature, high-pressure, and corrosive environments. It also provides a method of coating application for improving adhesion of the coating to the substrate. The coating compositions are devoid of volatile organic solvents and can be applied on surfaces using thermal spraying, compression molding and other particle sintering approaches. A multilayer architecture consisting of an adhesive bottom layer and a non-adhesive, low friction top layer is disclosed. The coating can be used in oil and gas production and seawater injection.

A surface of the visible side is formed here by partially protruding fibres and the matrix material, and at least two layers of differently coloured material are arranged on the visible side. Each layer of coloured material here comprises a film pressed onto the visible side of the interior part, wherein one of the coloured films is pressed directly onto the interior part and wherein each film is at least partially translucent or transparent. The invention likewise relates to an interior part of such a pressed fibre material which comprises a visible side. The present disclosure relates to a process for preparing of high thermal conductivity and high heat capacity oriented ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) product. The process includes feeding UHMWPE through rollers to obtain a pre-laminate which is further hot stretched to obtain the oriented UHMWPE product having high thermal conductivity and high heat capacity. The temperature of stretching is maintained below the melt temperature of the UHMWPE throughout the entire process. There is also provided a high thermal conductivity and high heat capacity oriented UHMWPE product prepared by the process of the present disclosure. The oriented UHMWPE product is characterized in the axial thermal conductivity in the range of 70 to 200 W/mK, transverse direction thermal conductivity in the range of 0.022 to 0.045 W/mK and heat capacity in the range of 6 to 25 MJ/m3K.

The invention relates to a method for producing a structural component (B, B'), particularly a structural component for a vehicle body, according to which method a flat carrier material (T1, T2, T3, T4) made of metal, thermoplastic material and/or fibre-reinforced thermoplastic material is shaped into a three-dimensional component, and according to which the carrier material (T1, T2, T3, T4) is furnished with support material (S, S') made of thermoplastic material, such that the carrier material and the support material form a materially bonded material composite. In order to reduce the number of production steps in such a method and increase the productivity of the method, according to the invention the material composite constructed from the carrier material (T1, T2, T3, T4) and the support material (S, S') is produced before the carrier material (T1, T2, T3, T4) is shaped into the three-dimensional component (B, B'), the material composite (W) is heated before the shaping in order to allow a shaping of the thermoplastic material, a rib structure (RS) is impressed into the support material (S, S') during the shaping of the material composite, and the three-dimensional component (B, B') having the rib structure (RS) is temperature controlled, preferably cooled.
