Abstract:
The invention provides a grease composition for bearings used in wind power generators, containing a base oil which has a kinematic viscosity of 10 to 70 mm 2 /s at 40°C and a pour point of -40°C or less, and a diurea compound as a thickener, for example, a diurea compound represented by formula (1) where R 1 and R 2 are both C8-alkyl group. The grease composition for bearings used in wind power generators according to the invention can meet the requirements in terms of the seizure life and the pumpability as well as the fatigue life (flaking life).
Abstract:
The subject of the invention is a method for increasing the strength properties of bearing sleeves and a unit for increasing the strength properties of bearing sleeves, to be used in manufacturing and regeneration of slide bearings with special working conditions, such as plane engines or rocket engines. Characterised by placing on the internal layer of the sleeve (T) a nanocomposite, graphene-like grease is placed, advantageously based on molybdenum disulfide, dissolved in anti-corrosion fluid, advantageously FC 111, in an amount of 2% to 10%, advantageously 5%, under the pressure within the range of 20 to 40 Mpa, advantageously 30 Mpa. This method is implemented in a unit characterized in that a cylindrical body, placed on a foundation (1) a sliding piston (2) is placed, having a central channel (3), connecting an impregnating chamber (4) with an impregnating socket (5), constructed in the pressing punch (6), in which a bearing sleeve (7) is placed, which has a hermetic connection of frontal surfaces with the operating surfaces of the punch (6) and upper surface of the piston (2), whereas in the external zone of the sleeve (T) the socket (5) has draining channels (8).
Abstract:
A slide electricity structure according to the present invention uses grease for electrical contacts wherein contact resistance does not gradually increase even when exposed to sliding and lifetime is long, and has a silver-plated spring contact that contacts or separates by way of sliding and grease for electrical contacts that has been applied to the spring contact and contains perfluoropolyether oil having an average molecular weight between 2600 and 12500 as a base oil and PTFE having a primary particle diameter of 1 µm or less as a thickener.
Abstract:
The invention relates to grease compositions containing high viscosity index polyalphaolefins (HVI-PAO) and polyurea thickeners. The use of HVI-PAOs and polyurea thickeners in a bi-modal base stock grease application provides favorable frictional properties and improved overall performance.
Abstract:
The invention provides a grease composition which is capable of extending the bearing life even at elevated temperatures and has little effect on acrylic rubber; and a bearing in which the above-mentioned grease composition is packed. The grease composition contains a thickener and a base oil, the base oil including a synthetic hydrocarbon oil in an amount of 20 mass% or more of the total mass of the base oil and an ester-based oil in an amount of 20 mass% or less of the total mass of the base oil, and the thickener containing a diurea compound represented by formula (I): R 1 -NHCONH-R 2 -NHCONH-R 3 wherein R 2 is a divalent aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 15 carbon atoms, and R 1 and R 3 may be the same or different and represent cyclohexyl group or a straight-chain or branched alkyl group having 8 to 18 carbon atoms, with the ratio of the number of moles of the cyclohexyl group to the total number of moles of R 1 and R 3 being 60 to 95%. The bearing has the above-mentioned grease composition sealed therein.
Abstract:
A thermally conductive silicone grease composition comprising at least the following components: an organopolysiloxane (A) represented by the following general formula : [wherein R1 designates identical or different univalent hydrocarbon groups; X designates identical or different univalent hydrocarbon groups or alkoxysilyl-containing groups of the following general formula: -R2-SiR1a (OR3)(3-a) (wherein R1 designates the previously mentioned groups; R2 designates oxygen atoms or alkylene groups; R3 designates alkyl groups; and 'a' is an integer ranging from 0 to 2); and 'm' and 'n' are integers equal to or greater than 0, respectively]; a thermally conductive filler (B); and an organopolysiloxane (C) having silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms on both molecular terminals and in the molecular chains; is characterized by excellent resistance to heat and reduced oil bleeding.
Abstract:
A grease formulation containing a thickener and a Fischer-Tropsch derived base oil, in particular a heavy or extra heavy base oil. The use of a Fischer-Tropsch oil results in an increase in thickener concentration and in improved properties such as anti-wear and copper corrosion performance. Also provided is the use of a Fischer-Tropsch derived base oil in a grease formulation, for the purpose of improving its anti-wear and/or copper corrosion performance, and/or for reducing the concentration of an additive in the formulation.
