Fluid conveyance apparatuses for freezing liquids having a pump must be able to be emptied. A direction reversal valve can be provided therefor on the pump for the purpose of reversing the conveyance direction. In the fluid conveyance apparatus (2) proposed here, the possibility for a direction reversal of the conveyance direction (41A, 41B, 42A, 42B) is achieved by a simple construction measure using the valve apparatus (30), which can be produced easily. The fluid conveyance apparatus is provided in particular for vehicles which are naturally subjected to significantly varying temperatures.

The present invention relates an intake valve actuating system (13), specially to reciprocating machines, the use of said system in compressors and a compressors starting method, promoting advantages on the compressors starting, minimizing the power needed on said reciprocating machines. Specially, the present invention comprises a controlled actuating mean (1) actuating an intake valve (13), by a coil (7), while a piston (12) starts its reciprocating movement. The intake valve (13) can be displaced, at the expense of the reciprocating movement of the piston (12), displacing a relief spring (10), avoiding overloading the coil (7). A fluid working machine of the type comprising working chambers of cyclically varying volume and low and high pressure valves to regulate the flow of working fluid into and out of the working chamber, from low and high pressure manifolds, in which the valves are electronically controlled on each cycle of working chamber volume, by way of valve actuation signals, to determine the net displacement of working chambers. Additional valve actuator signals are generated in response to determination that a valve or working chamber has been inactive to adapt the valve to operate more reliably when subsequently actuated, but without significantly altering the net displacement of working chambers.
