Der der Ventilsitz (5) ist entlang einer Ventilsitzführung (4) verschiebbar angeordnet, wobei der Ventilsitz (5) im Gasbetriebsmodus aufgrund des Brenngasdrucks im Gaskanal (13) vom Sperrkörper (6) weg gegen einen Anschlag (20) im Gasdosierventil (1) gedrückt und in seiner betriebsmäßigen Position gehalten wird, und wobei der Ventilsitz (5) im Flüssigbrennstoffbetriebsmodus vom Druck im Saugrohr (15) dichtend gegen den Sperrkörper (6) gedrückt wird.
