摘要： A direct action fluid motor (10) and injection pump (12) which injects small quantities of a secondary fluid into a primary fluid stream. A housing (14) having an inlet (18) and an outlet (20) connected to a primary fluid conduit. The housing contains a stepped piston (26) which reciprocates in response to the fluid pressure applied alternately to the closed small (34) and large (30) faces of the piston. A valve set alternately closes one and opens the other of the faces. A valve positioner (62) carried by the piston is held in alternate stable positions by cooperating springs on the valve positioner and a post in the piston. Stop members are located above and below piston travel, each associated with an actuating spring. The valve positioner is preshifted at the end of the stroke, using the full force of the piston, by stop members to move the valve positioner and valve set to an intermediate unstable position. When the closed valves on the closed face are unseated a small distance, a relatively weak actuating spring can then fully shift the valve positioner and valves to change the direction of reciprocation. The injection pump has a pump casing connected in sealed contact with the motor housing and has an outlet leading to the secondary fluid. A reciprocating pump mechanism connected to the piston has a selectively adjustable sliding valve member which closes the pump chamber.

To improve the intake properties of the piston pump (10) when the brake fluid is viscous owing to low temperatures, the invention provides for a valve opening device (56, 62) which at the start of the return stroke of the piston (20) forces open an intake valve (38) of the piston pump (10) which is configured as a spring-loaded check valve. The valve opening device comprises an opening pin (56) which is mounted on a valve ball (42) of the intake valve (38) and at the end of an output stroke of the piston (20) enters a perforated, disk-shaped valve opening element (62). At the start of the return stroke said valve opening element (62) holds back the valve ball (42) by its opening pin (56) by frictional force and in this way opens the intake valve (38).

摘要： A system (202) for delivering fluid in a machine (102) is provided. The system (202) includes a pump (208), a first valve (214) disposed downstream of the pump (208), a check valve (220) disposed downstream of the first valve (214), at least one accumulator (216, 218) disposed downstream of the check valve (220), and an auxiliary system (204) disposed upstream of the check valve (220). The system (202) further includes a control unit (232) configured to receive a signal indicative of a fluid demand from the auxiliary system (204). The control unit (232) is also configured to selectively control the first valve (214) in a first position (P1) to limit flow of the fluid from the pump (208) to the auxiliary system (204), and in a second position (P2) to allow flow of the fluid from the pump (208) to the auxiliary system (204) based, at least in part, on the received signal. The check valve (220) limits flow of a fluid from the at least one accumulator (216, 218) to the auxiliary system (204).
