摘要: Provided is a separator for a power storage device, said separator comprising a substrate and a thermoplastic polymer-containing layer that is formed on at least one substrate surface of the substrate and contains a thermoplastic polymer, wherein the thermoplastic polymer-containing layer has a dot pattern, the dot diameter (a) of 20 µm to 1,000 µm, the inter-dot distance (b) is 100 µm to 3,000 µm, the dot diameter (a) and the inter-dot distance (b) satisfy the relationship expressed by the expression: [inter-dot distance] / [dot diameter] = 0.5 to 4, and the contact angle between the thermoplastic polymer-containing layer and an electrolyte is 0° to 20°.

摘要: Battery separators are provided that include nanoalumina crystals and/or fibers, and a fiber blend including organic fibers. In one or more embodiments, the organic fibers can have a negative zeta potential in water prior to formation of the separator such that electrostatic adsorption of the nano-alumina crystals and/or fibers can occur. The battery separators are free of coatings and exhibit low shrinkage after one hour at temperatures up to 230°C, minimal pore sizes, a BET surface area greater than 10 m2/g. Also disclosed is a wet laid process for forming the battery separators.

摘要: This application provides a separator and a preparation method thereof, a secondary battery, a battery module, a battery pack, and an electric apparatus. The separator provided in this application includes a separator substrate and a carbon layer on at least one surface of the separator substrate, where a functional group for improving surface infiltration is grafted onto a surface on a side, farther away from the separator substrate, of the carbon layer. In this application, providing the carbon layer on the surface of the separator substrate can increase the number and uniformity of grafted functional groups for improving surface infiltration, thereby reducing a contact angle of an electrolyte for the separator and improving an infiltration effect of the electrolyte on the separator. In addition, the carbon layer has a function of protecting the separator substrate, so that the separator substrate is unlikely to be damaged when the functional group for improving surface infiltration is grafted.

摘要: A disclosed lithium secondary battery includes a positive electrode (11), a negative electrode (12), a separator (50) disposed between the positive electrode (11) and the negative electrode (12), and a non-aqueous electrolyte having lithium ion conductivity. The negative electrode (12) is an electrode on which lithium metal is deposited during charging and from which the lithium metal dissolves during discharging. The separator (50) includes a substrate (51) and a spacer (53). The spacer (53) is disposed on the negative electrode (12) side with respect to the substrate (51). The spacer (53) includes line-shaped protrusions arranged in a mesh pattern. The mesh pattern includes a lacking part connecting regions within adjacent meshes.

摘要: There is provided a power storage device separator binder aqueous solution, where the power storage device separator binder aqueous solution contains a water soluble polymer (1) or contains a water soluble polymer (2) and a hydrazide. The water soluble polymer (1) contains 20% by mole to 80% by mole of an N,N-dialkyl (meth)acrylamide unit and 10% by mole to 80% by mole of a (meth)acrylamide unit. The water soluble polymer (2) contains 0.2% by mole to 10% by mole of a keto group-containing ethylenically unsaturated monomer unit and 65% by mole to 99.7% by mole of a (meth)acrylamide group-containing compound unit. The hydrazide has two or more hydrazide groups.
