摘要: Provided are: a separator for an electric power storage device, the separator having high liquid absorption and high strength; and an electric power storage device in which the separator is used. The separator for an electric power storage device includes a microporous membrane (A) containing an inorganic filler and a polyolefin resin. The microporous membrane (A) has a MFR of 0.05-5 inclusive, includes not less than 20 mass% but less than 100 mass% of the organic filler, has an average pore diameter of 100-1500 nm inclusive for the pores in a cross-section ND-MD, and has an air permeability of 340 sec/100 mL or less.

摘要: Provided is a separator for an electrochemical device. The separator includes a porous substrate made of a porous polymer film having an excellent compressibility and permanent strain, wherein the porous substrate has excellent physical strength and durability and ensures a high breakdown voltage while using a heat resistant layer having a small thickness, and thus shows a low possibility of short-circuit generation. In addition, the separator may further include a heat resistant layer including inorganic particles, on the surface of the porous substrate. Herein, it is possible to further improve the compressibility, maximum compressibility and permanent strain characteristics depending on types of inorganic particles.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a separator for an electrochemical device comprising an inorganics-containing porous layer on at least one surface of a porous polymer support, and comprising inorganic fillers and a binder polymer, wherein the binder polymer comprises a first binder polymer, and the first binder polymer is poly(vinylidene fluoride-co-hexafluoropropylene) having a tan δ peak at -18°C to -5°C when measured by Dynamic Mechanical Analysis, and an electrochemical device comprising the same. The separator for an electrochemical device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure has improved adhesion property with electrode and safety at high temperature.
