The image-exposure section includes an exposure device for dividing the image information into a plurality of lines and exposing the photosensitive material with switching exposing colors corresponding to the plurality of color data by switching over a plurality of color filters, and a moving device for moving the exposure device and the photosensitive material relative to each other in a direction perpendicular to the lines. The image-exposure section further includes an exposure control unit for controlling operations of the exposure device and the moving device. The control unit effects a moving exposure control for exposing the photosensitive material by switching over the exposing colors while the photosensitive material and the exposure means are being moved relative to each other.

Marks are provided on the recording medium in correspondence with the filter stripes of the color stripe filter. A detection is given of the marks on the recording medium. During the recording of the color image information, color line sequential signals are recorded on the recording medium. The recording of the color line sequential signals is synchrohized with the detection of the marks on the recording medium.

Eine Kathodenstrahlröhre(1) ist auf der Innenseite ihrer Faseroptikfrontplatte (4) mit einem breitbandigen Phosphor (2) beschichtet. Vor der Frontplatte (4) befindet sich eine zweite Faseroptikplatte (5), auf deren Innenseite drei parallele Streifen von dichroitischen Farbfiltern (B, G, R) aufgedampft sind. Der optische Kontakt zwischen den beiden Faseroptik-Platten (4, 5) erfolgt durch immersionsöl (6). Ferner sind Mittel (10) vorhanden, um ein photosensitives Material in geringem Abstand von der zweiten Faseroptikplatte (5) quer zu den Farbfilterstreifen (B, G, R) an der Platte vorbei zu bewegen, so dass es zeilenweise belichtet werden kann. Die Verwendung von Filtern anstatt von unterschiedlichen Phosphoren zur Erzeugung der einzelnen Farben erlaubt unter Behaltung der den Faseroptikplatten inhärenten Vorteile eine wesentlich bessere Farbtrennung und damit verbesserte Bildwiedergabe.

Appareil electro-optique de controle de la couleur qui se prete a une utilisation dans un appareillage electronique de formation d'une image en couleurs du type comprenant un reseau de relais optiques 'pixel' (compression du mot 'picture element' utilisee dans le texte anglais, en francais: element d'image) electriquement adressables, chacun de ces relais fonctionnant dans le mode quadratique de Kerr pour controler de facon selective le passage de la lumiere vers differentes regions 'pixel' d'une zone de formation d'image en reponse a des signaux d'informations. Un tel appareil de controle de la couleur comprend un panneau (11) de modulateurs de couleur electriquement adressables qui controlent respectivement le passage d'une couleur parmi une pluralite de couleurs (par exemple, le rouge, le vert ou le bleu) vers une image plane, et un circuit (30, 35) pour adresser selectivement les modulateurs de couleur dans une sequence predeterminee et a des intervalles de temps predetermines de telle sorte que la couleur de la lumiere qui atteint l'image plane soit coordonnee avec l'information relative a l'image coloree qui est transmise par le reseau de relais optiques. Chaque modulateur de couleur comprend, en alignement optique, une paire de polariseurs croises (13, 14) possedant un filtre couleur (R, G, ou B) et un equipement electro-optique de modulation de lumiere (E) dispose entre ceux-ci. L'equipement (E) est du type permettant de faire tourner le plan de polarisation de la lumiere polarisee incidente en reponse au champ electrique applique. L'appareil de controle de couleur selon l'invention est particulierement avantageux car il est tres facilement synchronise avec l'appareillage electronique de formation d'images en couleurs dans lequel il est utilise, et il permet d'obtenir des impulsions particulierement courtes et bien definies de lumiere coloree.

In the case where document sheet data as a processing target is monochrome image data, the adding portion outputs, to the bus, color image data obtained by adding, to the monochrome image data, dummy image data pieces for a plurality of colors each corresponding to a predetermined processing unit amount which corresponds to a part of the monochrome image data. The image processing portion performs image processing per data amount equal to or smaller than the processing unit amount and outputs the resultant data to the bus. The output processing portion outputs image data pieces for a plurality of colors included in the color image data processed by the image processing and acquired from the bus, in accordance with synchronization signals inputted for the respective image data pieces for the plurality of colors.
