A coating material composition include a hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin, a fluororesin, and light diffusive particles, and the hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin has a weight-average molecular weight in a range of 10,000 to 30,000 and a hydroxyl value in a range of 14 to 70, wherein a mass ratio of the fluororesin to the hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin (the fluororesin/the hydroxyl group-containing acrylic resin) is in a range of 5/95 to 50/50. The coating material composition can provide the light diffusing properties capable of uniformly diffusing light while effectively masking a light source image.

The present invention aims to provide a nonionic surfactant composition capable of providing an aqueous dispersion that has excellent mechanical stability and storage stability, is less viscous at high temperatures and high concentrations, and is less likely to give off an odor during drying and firing. The present invention relates to a nonionic surfactant composition including: a nonionic surfactant that comprises a molecule having a C10-C22 alkyl group and/or alkenyl group as a hydrophobic group, a polyoxyalkylene chain as a hydrophilic group, no aromatic ring, no C9-C14 alkyl group derived from an alcohol that is produced from a higher olefin derived from a mixture of propylene and butene through an oxo process, and no C13 alkyl group derived from an alcohol that is produced from a higher olefin derived from a propylene tetramer through an oxo process, wherein the nonionic surfactant has a hydrodynamic radius of 5.0 to 8.0 nm at 40°C in an aqueous solution in which a nonionic surfactant concentration is 0.1 kg/L in the nonionic surfactant composition, the radius being measured by a dynamic light scattering method.

To provide a fluorine-containing resin powder coating composition giving a fluorine-containing resin coating film having a high whiteness, and various articles having on an outer surface thereof a coating film which has a high whiteness and can be produced by applying the fluorine-containing resin powder coating composition. The fluorine-containing resin powder coating composition is subjected to baking at 300°C or more, and the fluorine-containing resin composition for forming the coating film comprises surface-treated rutile titanium oxide particles as a whitening agent.

A durable water repellent which can impart excellent water repellency and effective acid rain resistance to hydrous substrates such as concrete, wood and cloth, can keep the natural textures and unique feelings of concrete, wood and cloth, and is prolonged in the duration of the water repellency; and articles (such as concrete) coated therewith. The water repellent is one comprising a repellent and a fluorinated resin, wherein the repellent is at least one member selected from the group consisting of perfluoroalkyl compounds (I), fluorinated surfactants (II), fluorinated oils (III), fluorosilicone oils (IV) and silicone oils (V), and the weight ratio of the repellent to the fluorinated resin lies between 50:50 and 99:1 in terms of solid matter.
