In an example embodiment, an antenna comprises a spiraling surface having a spiral cross-section, the surface forming an internal cavity, an internal channel to the external surface, and an internal wall common to the cavity and the channel. Further, an example embodiment comprises a longitudinal opening allowing access to the cavity and the channel by a transmission feed line. Alternate embodiments comprise various cross-sectional configurations, and may also comprise a radome at least partially surrounding the antenna spiraling surface and supporting structure.

    摘要: Antennas for use in mobile communication devices are disclosed. The antennas disclosed can include a substrate with a base, a top, a front side and a back side; a first conductor can be located on the first side of the antenna substrate; and a second conductor can be located on the second side of the antenna substrate. The conductors can have single or multiple branches. If a conductor is a single branch it can, for example, be a spiral conductor or a conducting plate. If a conductor has multiple branches, each branch can be set up to receive a different frequency band. A conductor with multiple branches can have a linear branch and a space-filling or grid dimension branch. A conducting plate can act as a parasitic reflector plane to tune or partially tune the resonant frequency of another conductor. The first and second conductors can be electrically connected.

    摘要: The inventive device has a spiral antenna formed by means of conductors which are arranged on the same plane and embodied in the form of a bifilar helix. Two space arrays are arranged on said plane and connected to conductors of two side whorls of the bifilar helix in an opposed manner. The bifilar helix is embodied as a rectangle, in the form of transmission lines having square whorls. Each space array is embodied in the form of an equilateral trapezium and connected to the top of the smaller base thereof. The bases of the equilateral trapeziums are parallel to the transmission lines of the bifilar helix.
